We are accommodating those die-hard science fiction fans by giving them the chance to custom design ships for Starship!  The design rules will allows you to "simulate" just about any starship genre battle you desire, including such popular (and appropriately copyrighted) ones as Star Wars and Star Trek!
 
During development, we decided to put Starship! to the test and set up a battle between the Federation and the Klingons.

Okay, okay, so we didn't have enough Klingon ships and had to bend the Star Trek universe a little by allying them with other races.  We were limited by what came in the big box of "Galoob" Star Trek toys.
 
Anyway, the point is that you can use Starship! to fight just about any genre of starship combat you desire.  Although we will be producing a line of ship models for various races, with the proliferation of spaceship toys out there these days, there is no reason you should limit yourself to what we manufacturer!
