Below are some shots from games and events we have run over the years. These shots are put here because we don't have enough of any one game to make an individual page. This page will continue to grow and change as we dig through our photo archives, so keep checking back here regularly!
Skull
Island was built by that master of disaster, Thomas Foss. Based around
a skull model, the entire piece is quite large. There is a path leading
into the skull's mouth, and the top of the head lifts off, revealing a
pirate's hideout inside! As you can see, there is plenty of room
for a couple of pieces of ordnance in the eye sockets as well.
Skull Island has been the centerpiece for many of our demonstrations. To be honest, I am glad that Thomas has refrained from selling this piece of the years, although I am sure he has been offered a handsome sum for it more than once!
Tribe
Wars! is an expansion for Pirates! Second Edition that is currently being
"playtested" by the South Bay Game Club. In Tribe Wars!, you don't
just build a ship, you build an entire Pygmy tribe, build an island, and
wage war on the neighboring tribes! The boys at SBGC have really
gotten into it, and Stan "The Man" Stinnett has even managed to paint over
300 Pygmies!
Tribe Wars! is a fun expansion for Pirates! While
not currently part of our publication schedule, it may be available for
purchase some day. Heck, if it stays small enough, we might even
make it available for free download from our web site!
